Civic Acumen is led by Kelly Sekulich. Kelly has worked in and with state and local public sector environments for more than 40 years, including more than 30 years leading client development and capture efforts. 1. Who is this designed for? Civic Acumen is designed for individuals and small firms pursuing state and local contracts, who want to learn how government works and get better results. 2. Do I need prior state and local experience? No, you do not need state and local experience. Some members will be new to the market; others will already be active. The advisory discussions are designed to support different levels of experience. 3. Will the price increase when it is open to te general public? No, your special low price will remain fixed as long as you are an active member, although we anticipate increasing the price for new members moving forward. 4. How much time will this require? There is no minimum time requirement. However, Founding Members are able to schedule four (4) 20 minute 1:1 calls with Kelly per month (one per week). The 1:1 calls will continue until the Advisory Group calls begin. The live Advisory Group calls will be 90-minutes, twice per month. You may also choose to spend time reviewing tools or Academy material. 5. What if I miss a Group Advisory call? Advisory Group calls will be recorded and available to members. 6. Is the private community a Facebook group? No, the private community is not a Facebook group. It is a private community with the Civic Acumen learning platform. 7. Can I cancel?
